Materials Handler
Material Handlers will work in a climate-controlled and clean environment, primarily in and around the cleanroom. The standard shift is from 8am to 5pm, with required overtime as needed.
Responsibilities- Remove shipped materials from delivery vehicles.
- Examine receiving documents to determine storage destination.
- Pull stored materials for orders and move them to the production or shipping area.
- Document information related to receipt, storage, or distribution.
- Utilize computer systems to locate and track inventory.
- Work under direct supervision.
- 1-2+ years of experience with shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment.
- 1-2+ years of experience setting up shipments via a computer system.
- Familiarity with Purchase Orders and Sales Orders.
- Basic computer skills or experience with ERP systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in a warehouse or production facility as a material handler.
- Experience with inventory, stocking, and kitting.
- Experience setting up shipments for Fed Ex and UPS.
- Knowledge of Oracle is a plus, but training is provided.

Work EnvironmentThe work takes place within a warehouse, with a team of five people in the Material Handling group. The environment is air-conditioned, and the dress code is casual. Occasionally, appropriate attire for the air lock room, including gloves, shoe covers, and hair nets, is required. Currently, there are two openings on the 1st Shift, from 8am to 4:30pm/5pm, with required overtime as necessary.
Some Saturday work and additional hours are voluntary, but candidates should be open to participating in some.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.87/hr.
