Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, training, communication and direction to sanitation team members to accomplish daily tasks in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
  • Review Pest Control records for compliance.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure the desired level of sanitation for adequate food processing, including QA, Maintenance, USDA, Warehouse and Manufacturing.
  • Ensure utmost care and protection of equipment electronics and motors when conducting cleaning.
  • Review daily operational labor, chemical and disposal costs; take corrective actions to determine root cause.
  • Act as the “go‑to” person for sanitation requirements for the respective shifts.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for all team members by heightening safety awareness through training and feedback of safe working techniques and housekeeping practices.
  • Maintain accurate records such as the master cleaning schedule and other regulatory or plant sanitary programs.
  • Perform other related duties and special assignments as required or assigned by the supervisor.
What You Will Bring To The Table (Must Have)
  • 2+ years of supervision/management experience in a manufacturing business or related field.
  • Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent level of experience in food/high‑speed manufacturing.
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and Outlook.
  • Proven team‑leadership skills and experience. Ability to interact with team members, customers and vendors in a positive and professional manner.
  • Strong problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Industrial (high‑volume) food processing experience.
  • Working knowledge of USDA, OSHA standards, general plant safety rules and regulations.
  • Experience in plant sanitary requirements and chemical usage/compliance.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Must be able to travel throughout production areas and stoop, kneel and crawl in small spaces.
  • Work in an office and factory environment, including refrigerated warehouses.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift occasional heavy loads (50 lbs or more).
  • Must work flexible hours based upon operation needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The target base salary range for this full‑time, salaried position is between $65,500 and $94,200. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. We offer competitive health, dental, 401(k) and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
