ASIC Design Engineer, Kuiper ASIC Design

Project Kuiper aims to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites providing high-speed, low-latency broadband to underserved communities worldwide.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive gate-level simulation test plans for ASIC verification, analyze results, debug logic errors, and collaborate with design and verification engineers to validate fixes.
• Facilitate integration across Firmware, RTL, Platform Software, and Drivers.
• Develop debug tools including RTL Emulation, silicon bring-up, and functional validation.

Export Control Requirement: Candidates must be U.S. citizens, nationals, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), refugees, or asylees, due to export laws.

• Collaborate with system architects to develop SOC and IP blocks meeting power, area, and performance targets.
• Define, configure, and integrate SoC subsystems and support logic.
• Configure and instantiate third-party IP blocks.
• Understand low power design and DFT impact.
• Perform synthesis and timing analysis.
• Support verification, debug, and system bring-up activities.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Experience in system design or architecture, especially in digital and SoC design.

• Experience with full software development lifecycle, including standards, reviews, source control, and testing.
• Master's degree in computer science or related field.
