Job PurposeThe Quality Technician Inspector is responsible for establishing and applying inspection methodologies and acceptance criteria for machined mechanical parts. The role provides assistance to operators trạng machinists and quality engineers with line‑side inspection of CNC machined components, first‑piece inspections, in‑process inspections, final inspections, and first‑article inspections.
Nature Of Duties- Maintain knowledge of CNC machining environments, calibration, and manufacturing inspection techniques, including operation of or programming of CMMs, measuring dimensions with precision instruments, basic inspection tools, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, pin gauges, etc., to ensure product meets specifications and drawings.
- Calibrate basic inspection tools and maintain accurate calibration records in the database.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to perform dimensional and physical inspection of mechanical parts.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and communicate this to machinists when interpreting drawings or engineering specifications.
- Develop inspection reports for new products, first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections of machined features to confirm conformance to specifications.
- Report findings to machinists, supervisors, and management; solve unknown values using algebra, trigonometry, or geometry; rehearse reject tags, discrepancy reports, and inspection reports per company procedures.
- Respond to Stop‑Work or On‑Hold situations involving quality/process issues; analyze problems, determine corrective actions, and issue process or engineering changes as needed.
- Perform duties, tasks, or projects assigned by the Quality Assurance Supervisor or Manager.
- High school diploma required; 2 years in manufacturing/CNC machining, quality control, or related field.
- Minimum two (2) years in manufacturing/CNC machining or equivalent, or experience in quality inspection in a CNC manufacturing environment.
- American Society of Quality Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
- American Society of Quality Certified Quality Technician (CQT)
This is an ITAR facility; applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Salary Range (annual)$49,920 – $52,000 ($24 Sau – $25 USD per hour). Base pay will be determined by experience, education, certifications, and skills. Total rewards include health insurance, life/injury insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, paid time off, and eligible bonus programs.
