THE PERSONManufacturing Technicians operate and maintain machinery, ensuring safety and compliance by adhering to industry standards. Must identify and troubleshoot equipment or process‑related issues, possess strong problem‑solving skills, and collaborate effectively with other technicians. Expected to participate in initiatives to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste in the manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Operating and maintaining machinery: setting up, monitoring and adjusting equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime.
- Ensuring safety and compliance: following safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to industry standards and regulations. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Troubleshooting and problem‑solving: identifying and resolving equipment or process‑related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaboration and teamwork: effectively communicating and working together with other technicians, operators and engineers in the production process.
- Continuous improvement: participating in initiatives to improve processes, enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the manufacturing environment.
- Relevant manufacturing or production experience preferred. Key skills include technical aptitude, attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities and effective communication.
- Familiarity with all ATE test hardware (Logic Testers, Handlers, Load Boards & sockets)
- Proficiency in the operation of ATE equipment such as testers and handlers
- Familiarity with electro‑mechanical equipment
- Familiarity with Active Thermal Control (ATC) practical application
- Experience working with engineering labs and/or high‑volume manufacturing test facilities
- Some Linux experience
