Summary

BSU has an immediate opening for a Stockroom clerk. This position requires good inventory control skills as well as the ability to multitask and to work independently.

Job Duties
  • Electronic part recognition.
  • Picking of electrical components needed for production floor.
  • Inventory Control tasks such as cycle-counting and replenishment of on-hand inventory.
  • Supporting production by providing kits and electrical parts for electronic board assembly.
  • Minimal clerical duties may be required, such as generating labels, entering items into the inventory system, entering items onto Excel worksheets, etc.
  • Maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years’ experience in stockroom in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expected to read and comprehend process documentation.
  • Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format.
  • Candidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of parts.
  • Experience in Pick/Pack/Ship or assembly/production experience in a light manufacturing and/or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Experience with common Manufacturing/Distribution Center tasks such as picking, packing, receiving, stocking, and knowledge of related documents and/or MRP operation preferred
  • Experience with BOMs, SOPs, and work instructions is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic Windows-based PC functionality and the ability to accurately type at a reasonable pace are required.
Education
  • High school diploma.
  • Associate Degree (preferred).
