Production Lead; Corsair Integration, Subassembly & Machine Shop - First & Second Shift

• Train and Certify Team Members: Train new employees on production processes and company policies.
• Certify Team Members on Job Tasks: Certify team members on specific job tasks to ensure competency and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Ensure Safety, Quality, and Production Standards: Promote and enforce safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment; monitor and ensure product quality meets the company’s standards; oversee production to meet cost and throughput requirements.
• Manpower Coordination: Plan, schedule, and allocate manpower based on production needs; adjust manpower allocation in response to daily production requirements and unexpected absences; act as a backup to the production supervisor when needed, overseeing operations and decision-making processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement in the production process; implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain production targets.

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Understanding of safety regulations, quality control, and production processes.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing production demands.

  Skills:
  
  Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Previous experience as a Team Leader or similar leadership role.
• Familiarity with ION, Arena.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours/day
• Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 20 lbs.
• The ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
• Ability to work outside for an extended period of time
• Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install vehicle parts of varying size and weight overhead, accurately and in allotted time frames
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain
• Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, platforms, or other high structures
• Ability to find issues in a work process and be alert to safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
• Demonstrated ability to handle and manipulate tooling and mechanically fasten bolts within required cycle time
• Exposures to hazardous materials and ability to follow waste handling/disposal procedures
• Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
