Warehouse Specialist II – Parker Hannifin

Position Summary

Responsible for the execution of required shipping and receiving activities to meet customer requirements and internal measures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform various warehouse duties including, but not limited to:
  • Pulling product per customer requirements
  • Preparing pulled product for shipment to the customer
  • Processing inbound shipments for appropriate storage
  • Cycle counting and/or physical inventory
  • Use of various types of equipment such as forklifts, automated storage and retrieval systems, and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Use of various computer-based programs (Bill of Ladings, small package manifest, PC type applications, mainframe type applications)
  • Record necessary data on appropriate paperwork and/or in computer based program(s)
  • Maintain all equipment according to facility maintenance procedures
  • Perform all responsibilities in a safe manner observing all safety requirements
  • Actively support the Corporate Win Strategy
  • Perform other related responsibilities as needed
Qualifications

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to operate various types of forklifts
  • Ability to use measuring devices; tape measurer
  • Read and interpret written (English) instructions
  • Computer experience a plus
  • Work 8 hours per day, Monday – Friday (daily and weekend overtime may be scheduled as necessary and could be on a voluntary or mandatory basis, based on business needs)
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Frequently required to lift up to 20 pounds; occasionally required to assist in dual lifts of up to 150 pounds with another employee. Commonly lift and/or carry objects weighing 20–50 pounds. Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle product, pull or push product/equipment, reach with hands and arms, occasionally bend, twist, sit and stoop. Occasionally required to climb stairs and/or ladders.

    Frequently required to talk or hear. Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth,. Occasionally required to operate different forklifts from heights of up to 50ft. See Warehouse Physical Capacity for full requirements.
  • Occasionally exposed to heat, cold, humidity and dust. Frequently work on or around moving equipment. Noise level low to moderate. Frequently work with deadlines under pressure and occasionally be required to work alone.

Compensation
  • Pay Range: $20/hourly to $22/hourly
