The Manager SSC Warehouse is a first-level manager who manages the daily operations of a retail warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution. This role focuses on optimizing processes, maintaining accurate inventory records, and leading a team to meet performance goals in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain organized and clean warehouse facilities to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to manage inventory replenishment and forecasting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order processing, shipping, and returns management.
  • Work with logistics partners to coordinate deliveries and resolve shipping issues.
  • Optimize order fulfillment processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline warehouse operations.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities.
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive operational decisions and improvements.
  • Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records related to warehouse operations and audits.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 6-8 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 1-3 years of management experience.
  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in one's own job discipline or field.
  • Focused on and responsible for their team's productivity and collective impact.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Suite of products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
