Position summary: Project Manager is an advanced-level team member responsible for creating accurate timelines using to ensure project completion, efficient management of project operations. The Commercial Project Manager will work with other team members to ensure tasks are completed within specifications and be responsible for tracking and communicating cross-departmentally and to management ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of how the project is progressing from pre-construction and planning to project completion.
Commercial Project Manager is a people manager and will help develop staff whenever possible.
Job Responsibilities :
- Fully own project operations for commercial landscape construction projects, always achieving the goal of completing a project on time or early, and on or under budget, as well as communicating necessary change orders to our client, internal management and sales personnel for accurate and timely billing.
- Fully own all submittals as required by the general contractor and as necessitated by the project plan.
- Fully own project updates, daily activity logs and any other relevant project information via project management system.
- Track job costing daily via LMN job costing platform while always keeping costs low and spending wisely.
- Fully own quality control along with sales estimator, maintaining Maas Verde standards on all projects. If the Commercial Project Manager doesn’t have the information that they need to maintain quality control, it is their responsibility to go find the information, or if necessary, to ask.
- After the Sales team hands off the project to the Operations team, the Commercial PM will fully own project planning.
- Fully own communicating all information to project crew utilizing project resources as the basis for communication prior to project commencement and throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in scheduling of projects on LMN calendar.
- Be available for job site visits with designer, sales and all relevant stakeholders.
