Job DescriptionThe Leadership Academies Supervisor performs highly advanced (senior-level) administrative and supervisory program work, establishing programmatic goals, developing educational programs, implementing and evaluating activities for Access and Eligibility Services (AES) leadership academies.
Essential Job Functions- Manage day-to-day activities of AES leadership academy programs and associated staff (30%).
- Identify areas of needed change and engage in continuous programmatic improvement based on evaluation (25%).
- Ensure the use of effective instructional design and facilitation techniques to engage adult learners (20%).
- Assess program effectiveness by developing and implementing evaluation methods and processes (10%).
- Identify long-range training goals connected to AES priorities and objectives (10%).
- Represent the program area at meetings, conferences, seminars, panels, and committees as needed (5%).
- Adult learning education principles, practices, and techniques.
- State policies and procedures.
- Leadership development principles and strategies.
- Managing relationships with teams and stakeholders.
- Oral and written communications.
- Delivery of in-person and virtual adult learning.
- Analytical tools to evaluate and improve training programs.
- Handling multiple assignments concurrently.
- Logical and reasoning skills to evaluate solutions.

- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Graduate from a four‑year college or university with major coursework in leadership development, organizational development, adult learning, or communications; or four years of work experience in leadership and professional development can substitute for a degree.
- Three years experience in advanced level adult learning, including developing and delivering workshops and trainings.
- Advanced writing and verbal communication skills.
