OpportunityProsperity Life Insurance Group, LLC is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director of Third Party Vendor Management within their Allocations and Expense Management Department. This position reports directly to the department VP.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Centralized oversight, governance and ownership of all third party and vendor contracts.
- Monthly third party and vendor utilization and spend analysis.
- Partner with key vendors to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality relationships while monitoring ongoing compliance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an enterprise‑wide Third‑Party Risk Management framework and complete annual risk assessments.
- Management and oversight of workflows for review/approval of all vendor contracts.
- Monitor ongoing vendor performance and contract execution by conducting quarterly business reviews.
- Collaborate with business partners across all functional areas supporting the organization’s vendor strategy.
- Work with business partners across all functional areas as a strategic partner for proactive advice on contract assessments and company goals.
- Develop and present key risk indicators, key performance indicators to leadership.
- Facilitate strategic and operational planning and implementation of processes to ensure that management is knowledgeable about process, goals, objectives and strategy.
- Assist with FP&A initiatives outside of Allocation and Expense Management on an ad‑hoc basis.
This position does not carry any supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience- 7-10 years of experience with vendor management.
- Experience with in the Life insurance industry specifically around an understanding of insurance regulations including data protection requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or business management.
- Very strong analytical skillset.
- Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office Data tools such as Power BI.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, in accordance with deadlines, and with a variety of stakeholders.
- Effective communication and relationship building skills with both internal and external business partners.
The preferred location for this position will be New York, NY;
Austin, TX;
Miami, FL, but there is flexibility for the right candidate.
