As the primary client lead and internal connector, the Account Director balances high-level strategic counsel with operational rigor, financial stewardship, and people leadership. They champion integrated thinking, defend great work, and ensure every engagement is positioned for long-term growth and impact.

This role is equal parts trusted advisor, strategic operator, and team leader—and is critical to how Giant Noise shows up as a modern, integrated agency partner.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a trusted senior advisor to clients, building long-term relationships rooted in partnership, transparency, and results
  • Own client engagements from onboarding through renewal, ensuring alignment on goals, scope, success metrics, and expectations
  • Provide strategic guidance across creative, social, paid, influencer, and integrated marketing initiatives, tying execution to broader business outcomes
  • Proactively identify client challenges and growth opportunities, offering thoughtful recommendations that drive impact

  • Ensure briefs, scopes, and strategic direction are clear, aligned, and actionable across disciplines
  • Champion integrated thinking, ensuring client solutions reflect Giant Noise’s full capabilities—not siloed execution
  • Partner closely with Strategy leadership to ensure insights, performance data, and audience understanding inform client plans

Oversee Performance, Budgeting & Growth

  • Guide campaign performance and budget management, ensuring work is optimized for results, efficiency, and ROI
  • Translate performance data into clear, client-facing insights, recommendations, and next steps
  • Own overall account health, including forecasting, scoping, resourcing, and revenue performance
  • Identify and support organic growth opportunities through expanded services and evolving scopes
  • Support new business efforts through pitch participation, client transitions, and integrated planning as needed

Lead & Develop Teams

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Account Managers and Supervisors, fostering strong client instincts, strategic thinking, and operational excellence
  • Model clear communication, accountability, and collaborative leadership
  • Support career growth through coaching, feedback, and development planning
  • Promote a whole-agency mindset rooted in partnership, shared ownership, and respect

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, client services, or integrated marketing (agency experience required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-channel client engagements.
  • Strong client-facing presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial agency environment.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media, influencer marketing, paid media, and integrated campaign execution.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
  • Experience working with modern tools and platforms such as Google Suite, Click Up, Sprout, Creator IQ, analytics dashboards, and Canva.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Empathy for clients paired with a strong business and strategic mindset.
  • Collaborative, team-first approach with the ability to lead through influence.
