Description
The Bug Master, a well-established leader in the pest control industry is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day service delivery, drive operational excellence, and ensure outstanding customer experiences across all locations.
This strategic leadership role is ideal for a proven operations executive with a track record of building efficient processes, leading high‑performing teams, and delivering consistent quality and profitability in a recurring service model.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will partner with sales, marketing, and executive leadership to align operations with company goals, optimize resources, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Provide company‑wide operations leadership: lead teams, establish clear KPIs, and drive accountability for service quality, efficiency, and financial performance.
- Develop and execute operational plans (annual, quarterly, monthly) to achieve revenue growth, gross margin targets, and company objectives.
- Align operations with sales and marketing strategies to ensure seamless execution and shared success.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and forecasting across divisions to maintain financial health and profitability.
- Deliver exceptional service quality and customer satisfaction through standardized processes and ongoing improvements.
- Coach, mentor, and develop technicians, service professionals, and field managers to build a high‑performing team.
- Design, implement, and optimize operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration to improve integration, workflow, and cost‑effectiveness across departments.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and safety compliance while maintaining positive work environments.
- Represent the company positively to employees, customers, industry partners, and the community.
- Proven track record in multi‑location or regional operations management, ideally in pest control, home services, or field‑service industries.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, cost control, process improvement, and achieving gross margin targets.
- Demonstrated success leading teams to deliver high‑quality service and exceptional customer experiences.
- Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
- Superior verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational software/tools.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution.
- A values‑driven leader who thrives in a collaborative, customer‑obsessed culture built on kindness, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- An operations‑focused executive who drives results through clear accountability, structure, and people development.
- Someone experienced leading distributed field teams with an emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- A strategic thinker who excels at cross‑functional alignment and process optimization.
- Join a stable, well‑established, and growth‑oriented company with a strong reputation in the pest control industry.
- Play a pivotal role in scaling operations and directly impacting service quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Enjoy high‑visibility leadership exposure, collaborating closely with the COO and executive team.
- Receive competitive compensation (including base salary, performance incentives, and comprehensive benefits) plus opportunities for continued professional growth.
