Job Overview

The role focuses on improving the productivity of a group of sales colleagues. Responsibilities include implementing, coordinating, and presenting new hire training and development programs, providing mentoring, coaching, and formal facilitation to sales colleagues, and partnering with field leadership to train and coach associates to maximize performance.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Hire, onboard, train, manage & engage a team of frontline sales colleagues in a designated area.
  • Support collaboration between Sales and Operations within the territory, align goals, and drive performance.
  • Lead weekly meetings with the team to monitor performance and focus on skill development and prioritized topics.
  • Provide ongoing technical training on services offered in the assigned territory as needed.
  • Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly one‑on‑one debriefs to build communication, identify training needs, and provide insight for performance improvement.
  • Ensure the team meets or exceeds all activity standards for Field Sales Colleague performance and other selected KPIs.
  • Set a strong example in personal character, commitment, organization, selling skills, and work habits.
  • Monitor progress against revenue objectives; jointly accountable with Operations for APITDA realization.
  • Monitor sales start rates through the key relationship with Operational Leadership.
  • Serve as steward of the Rentokil Terminix business model to ensure company programs and initiatives are delivered with excellence at the branch level.
  • Monitor, coach, and develop the team to foster effective growth and development.
  • Plan, organize, and order job‑related items for new hires.
  • Work with new hires to evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement in the Field and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communicate training needs to leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Increase unit sales and dollars by implementing, teaching, and enforcing company sales practices.
  • Work in the field with sales colleagues daily and maintain minimum sales activity requirements.
  • Ensure creative and methodically sound sales programs, proper use of sales materials, and inventory control.
  • Set an excellent management example and quality image.
Required Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, or regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from various stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to perform basic business mathematics and analyze sales data.
  • Ability to acquire required licenses/certificates from federal, state, or local agencies.
Minimum Education al Level/Certifications
  • At least one (1) year of Rentokil Terminix experience in the designated field with RTX.
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Maintain required licenses/certificates.
  • Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions
  • Move up to 20 lbs. by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects.
  • Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Work in damp and/or dusty locations, confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
  • Go up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely.
  • Maintain and keep vehicle and other equipment clean.
  • Wear personal protective equipment, including OSHA‑compliant respirators.
  • Perform detail‑oriented activities close to the eyes or within arm’s reach.
  • Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
  • Flexible with working hours, including some evening and weekend work, a rotating on‑call schedule, and extending to 50‑60 hours/week during peak season.
