Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing plan that aligns with the hotel’s vision and financial goals. - Revenue Growth:
Drive group, leisure, and corporate business through innovative sales strategies, partnerships, and market expansion. - Brand Storytelling:
Position the hotel as a destination of choice by weaving together Austin’s cultural energy with the property’s luxury lifestyle offerings. - Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering collaboration and accountability. - Market Intelligence:
Analyze trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to anticipate shifts and seize opportunities. - Community Engagement:
Build strong relationships with local businesses, cultural institutions, and influencers to amplify the hotel’s presence in Austin. - Digital Innovation:
Oversee digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce strategies to maximize visibility and conversion.
- Proven success as a Director of Sales & Marketing (or senior sales leader) in luxury hospitality (REQUIRED).
- Deep understanding of lifestyle branding, experiential travel, and high-touch guest engagement.
- Strong network within corporate, leisure, and group segments, ideally with Austin or Texas market familiarity.
- Visionary thinker with the ability to blend analytics, creativity, and emotional intelligence.
