About the Role

Our Groundskeepers are essential team members who maintain the overall curb appeal of our apartment communities. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents while providing excellent customer service.

Below is a snapshot of what this role is all about. While there is more to it, this is the core focus.

• Perform daily property walks and maintain curb appeal.
• Remove trash and debris from common areas.
• Assist with seasonal property needs like snow removal and leaf clearance.

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure proper use and storage of tools and vehicles.

• Respond to resident needs promptly and professionally.
• Communicate work status and potential issues to the Service Manager.

• Follow OSHA and company safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of previous experience as a Groundskeeper or similar function preferred.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• General computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of and ability to use grounds tools and equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
• Valid driver s license may be required.

This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
