Project Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager, IT Project Manager

Client: HHSC (Texas Health & Human Service)

Location: Austin, TX (701 W 51st Street, Austin, Texas 78751)

Work Location: Texas only (100% Remote)

• 3- 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive broad-based information systems, system integration and project delivery experience.
• Experience working with external vendors and/or Quality Assurance efforts a plus.

• Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company.
• As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on.
• Project managers might work by themselves or oversee a team to get the job done.

• Contract may span for two (2) years.
• Experience as a project manager for the state would be helpful.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a project manager, preferable for State Agencies.
• 4 years of experience leading, coordinating, reporting, and providing oversight.
• Preferably with prior state experience with a major information resources (MIRP) project.
