Director, Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and champion enterprise-wide leadership development, succession planning, and performance culture initiatives.
  • Develop and drive the comprehensive strategy for leadership development programs, ensuring alignment with Central Health System’s strategic vision and values.
  • Provide one‑on‑one leadership coaching and mentorship for executives and leaders, focusing on behavioral change, strategic thinking, and organizational impact.
  • Oversee the development of tools and frameworks for career advancement, including the creation and monitoring of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for key leaders and high‑potential team members.
  • Research, design, and facilitate high‑quality, engaging leadership development modules, workshops, and retreats for various levels of management.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert and lead major organizational change efforts, ensuring leaders are equipped to manage and sustain successful transitions.
  • Work with People Partnerships & Engagement (PPE) team to design, manage, and continuously improve the enterprise succession planning framework, ensuring critical roles have viable, prepared candidates for seamless transitions.
  • Partner with PPE to embed coaching principles and high‑performance behaviors into the daily fabric of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (higher degree accepted).
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, or Leadership Development, with at least five years in a senior leadership/director‑level capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and leading enterprise‑wide succession planning and leadership development programs.
  • Proven experience in providing executive‑level coaching (certifications highly desirable, e.g., ICF, Marshall Goldsmith).
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading significant organizational change management initiatives.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (Upon Hire Required).
