Our Vice President, Human Resources is the top HR leader for the DFS family of products. Reporting to the DFS’s President and serving as a key member of the senior leadership team, you will have the opportunity to create something uniquely tailored to the needs of the business, partner with stakeholders to provide guidance and recommendations to deliver critical projects that enable growth.
This role leads all aspects of DFS’s human resources activities, including strategic direction, talent acquisition; talent management and development; organizational design; succession planning; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; succession planning, employee relations and total rewards. As a functional leader, the Vice President of Human Resources will also develop and inspire a global team of approximately 40+ HR professionals.
- Provide leadership to the organization’s human resources team while fostering a culture of high‑performance, accountability, professional development and high ethical standards;
- Develop and drive the HR strategies, initiatives and services to support the business’ strategic goal deployment and annual operations plan objectives in the various areas of talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, total rewards and organization development;
- Lead the talent management and succession planning process across the Operating Company with a focus on developing employees and future leaders for the organization;
- Proactively deliver organizational design, total reward and human capital strategies for purposes of workforce planning, deployment and retention designed to address current and future needs of the business;
- Foster a culture of respecting and valuing people in a diverse and globally oriented environment. Lead and mentor high‑performing teams, delegating tasks based on individual strengths to optimize results and boost morale. Provide clear instructions and guidance, motivating team members to achieve peak performance and meet project deadlines. Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the team, managing resources efficiently and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment;
