Senior ORAT Consultant – Austin, TX
Arup is seeking an experienced Senior ORAT Consultant to lead operational readiness projects in aviation, transport, and property.
Responsibilities- Lead and deliver large, high‑profile operational readiness projects across Austin and the region.
- Plan, scope, and manage projects to ensure timely delivery of outputs, coordinating with other consultants and stakeholders.
- Manage a project team of Arup consultants and support the development of tools and service offerings.
- Contribute to ORAT‑specific and wider business development, identifying opportunities within existing client relationships and developing compelling proposals and pitch documents.
- Support regional and global ORAT networks by providing additional capacity and diverse experience.
- Travel within the United States as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, change management, or operations management/consulting, ideally in aviation.
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and subject‑matter expertise.
- High level of communication and relationship‑management skills.
- Proactive, self‑initiated work style and ability to handle multiple engagements concurrently.
- Experience winning work and a PMP or similar certification preferred.
- English proficiency; other languages an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and able to pass airport security background checks.
- Base salary range: $133,000–$165,000 per year (Austin). Salary commensurate with experience.
