Project Manager, Construction – ARCO/Murray
Join our Austin Project Management team as an experienced Project Manager in the design/build construction process. You will own projects from design to completion, driving performance, customer satisfaction, and profit.

- Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of the project from preconstruction through closeout.
- Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budgets.
- Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, reduce costs, provide value‑engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts.
- Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors.
- Identify opportunities to procure material and/or specialty equipment directly to benefit budget or schedule.
- Work with Project Superintendent to develop and review subcontractor scopes, project schedule, and site logistics plan.
- Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subcontractors, and vendors to solve constructability and sequence issues.
- Lead OAC meetings on‑site to review progress and address challenges with the client.
- Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports.
- BS in Engineering or related field.
- 3‑7 years of construction management or engineering design experience.
- Experience leading ground‑up commercial, light industrial, multi‑family, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects preferred.
- Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
