Senior Project Manager

This Sr. Project Manager position will be based in Austin, Texas. The exact job site address is confidential and will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to nurture successful relationships with field project managers, general contractors, and owners.
• Lead the pre‑construction, preplanning, and construction project scheduling process, leveraging strong relationships with GCs to grow the Batchelor & Kimball business.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure project timelines and budgets, taking ownership and accountability for projects under your direction.
• Solve complex problems related to project schedule and budget as an active member of the project team.
• Review and approve project budgets (labor, material, and subcontractors) to determine allocation of resources from start to finish with attention to budgetary limits.
• Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts with external vendors to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Manage project finances, including profitability and cash flow, and provide indirect leadership to construction crews.
• Actively participate in design conflict resolution for all trades, collaborating with engineers, architects, and others to determine project specifications.
• Lead strategic planning and project submittal, request for information, and change order processes.
• Implement monthly cost reports and accurate cost projections, recognizing and resubmitting change orders as necessary.
• Approve payment supplier and subcontractor invoices while ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and reporting issues.

• Aptitude to learn new systems and understand company resource production capabilities.
• Minimum of 4 years leading large multi‑million‑dollar complex construction projects.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam software and Procore Management programs is a priority.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; or 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Construction Management, Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree highly preferred.
