We’re looking for a dedicated professional who can deliver outstanding maintenance services and exceptional customer care at an apartment community within our Affordable Housing Business Unit.
Pay & Perks- Pay Rate: $20.50/hour

As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain the property, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for residents, and present the company professionally at all times while performing essential duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Monitor and manage maintenance expenses to stay within budget.
- Inspect community grounds each morning.
- Perform unit turns (painting, cleaning, maintenance of vacant units).
- Complete maintenance requests promptly.
- Prepare vacant units for new residents.
- Conduct preventative maintenance activities.
- Maintain landscaping, including bushes, trees, and lawns.
- Perform snow removal on community sidewalks and maintain records.
- Keep maintenance logs and records for all units and the site.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and replacement parts are in working condition.
- Provide emergency resident support after office hours.
- Supervise contractors working on‑site.
- Conduct quarterly unit inspections.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
- HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong reasoning skills and common sense understanding of instructions.
- Beginner skills with MS Outlook and MS Word.
- Annually attend fair‑housing class.
- Ongoing professional development.
- Rarely must sit, climb, balance or lift up to 75 pounds.
- Regularly must stand, walk, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands/arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk and hear.
- Close and distance vision is required. The ability to adjust focus is also required.
- Normally works in an environment with moderate or loud noise.
- Rarely must work in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, high/precarious places, around fumes/airborne particles/toxic or caustic chemicals and near risk of electrical shock.
- Occasionally must work in outdoor weather conditions.
