• Assist with daily porter tasks, such as service requests and jobs at communities
• Respond to maintenance related issues in a timely manner
• Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, painting, and exterior building repairs.
• Responsible for work order systems accuracy by verifying all orders are completed in a timely manner to company standards and the tenant’s satisfaction.
• Ensure maintenance requests are handled as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible and always completed within 24 hours. Inform Property Manager and resident if work delayed due to needed parts.
• Promptly communicate with the property manager concerning all maintenance issues at the property.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least five years of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• General knowledge of maintenance repair and service including plumbing, electrical, general maintenance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, computer, printer, copier, and etc.
