Porter Job Summary
We are seeking a Porter to join our team at our luxury student housing community in Austin, Texas. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and integrity of our properties, ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment for our residents. As a Porter, you will assist with work orders, maintain the grounds, and be part of an on-call rotation to address 24-hour emergencies.
- Care and upkeep of all rental units, property, and facilities.
- Assisting in maintenance situations.
- Assisting with work orders.
- Upkeep of the grounds (picking up trash daily).
- Assisting with turnover; walking units, touch up painting, moving furniture, etc.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- Requires lifting and moving up to 75 pounds when lifting garbage bags or assisting maintenance personnel.
- Requires frequent bending or stooping when removing debris and trash from property units.
- Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.
