Overview

Job Summary:

The Cleanroom Cleaner position is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and upkeeping assigned areas, including building interiors and exteriors, restrooms, furniture, and equipment. Responsibilities may also include seasonal maintenance tasks and supporting recycling initiatives.

Address: 3900 W. Howard LN, Austin, TX 78728 | Shift: 12 Hours, Wednesday - Saturday. Must be bilingual in English.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience
• Bilingual in English

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to speak basic English and willingness to learn cleanroom terminology

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain buildings, including restrooms, offices, lobbies, and common areas
• Follow proper procedures for chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage
• Report repairs or upgrades needed for building systems
• Communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and management
• Ensure safety, security, compliance, and quality standards are met
• Clean furniture, walls, ceilings, floors, fixtures, and glass surfaces
• Clean and replace blinds, gather and dispose of trash and recyclables
• Perform seasonal tasks like snow removal, leaf raking, grass cutting
• Clean food service areas and restrooms, support recycling initiatives
• Move furniture and equipment manually or with hand trucks
• Clean in a sterile cleanroom environment, ensuring ISO 7 and ISO 8 standards
• Stock uniforms, protective gear, and supplies in cleanroom and gowning areas
• Manage trash and recyclables, transporting them to proper disposal areas
