Operations Associate, Austin

Gopuff is looking for Operations Associates (OAs) to join the operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs play an essential role at Gopuff, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving products, and working with partner drivers.

Customers rely on Gopuff for their everyday essentials, regardless of weather. We are building a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers to reshape retail faster than ever before. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack items for dispatch
• Receive and unpack pallets, ensure inventory accuracy, and resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Manage waste and spoilage following FIFO practices
• Contact customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items
• Handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently
• Stand, push, pull, and walk during shifts
• Use carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
• Handle products containing tobacco, nicotine, and alcohol
• Work periodically in freezer locations
• Walk several flights of steps as needed
• Prepare beverages and food items following recipes and standards
• Ensure accuracy in food and beverage packaging
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Receive and verify orders and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain kitchen organization and standards
• Prepare, package, and stage orders

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in restaurant or retail (preferred)
• Flexible schedule, including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
• Knowledge of basic web applications (e.g., Google G-Suite)
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Availability for flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
