Our client, a leader in the automotive service industry, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will collaborate with internal teams, contribute to the optimization of fleet maintenance processes, and deliver a world-class service experience.
You will perform high-quality repairs, inspections, and diagnostics.
The ideal candidate will have a reliable work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a strong team spirit which will align successfully in the organization.
W2 contract role and opportunity to be extended.
What’s the Job?You will be responsible for ensuring fleet vehicles are primed and ready for daily use by deploying software, ensuring that each vehicle has the correct software, firmware, and hardware prior to its scheduled mission start time, and troubleshooting both new and existing issues.
- Perform repairs in accordance with detailed work instructions and document results in the service platform.
- Conduct multi-point inspections and system checks, providing recommendations to ensure fleet safety and reliability.
- Execute efficient, accurate, and high-quality repairs, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Inspect and test completed work as a Quality Control (QC) measure to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manually drive test fleet vehicles to collect data after upgrades or repairs are performed.
- Process collected data and utilize tooling which consists of a terminal, GUI, and version control software to marshal the processing of sensor calibrations.

- Driver's license with a clean/excellent driving record.
- Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
- Minimum of 2 years of technician experience
- Reliable, self-starter, roll-up-the-sleeves work ethos
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Diagnostic experience with OEM systems, including HV systems, hybrid drive trains, CAN/LIN, HVAC, cooling, chassis, and suspension
- Experience troubleshooting Linux-based systems and embedded modules, including self-driving systems and sensor stacks.
- ASE certification and/or manufacturer certifications.
- Technical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in automotive repair.
