Overview

Arbor Properties, a leading multifamily management company in Central Texas, is seeking an experienced Multifamily Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our apartment communities, ensuring a welcoming environment for new residents.

• Clean and prepare apartment units for new move-ins, including thorough cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms (basic, spot, and heavy cleans).
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and housewares.
• Clean common areas such as laundry rooms, gym, model unit, and leasing office to maintain a professional appearance.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure adherence to the company’s safety and hazard communications programs, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, performing general cleaning as needed.
• Perform all duties called upon by the Lead Maintenance/Property Manager to ensure that the property operates in an efficient and economical manner.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cleaning apartment units for new move-ins.
• Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper in a multifamily setting.
• Strong knowledge of how to use various cleaning products safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Customer-oriented with a friendly demeanor.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently on occasion.

• Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on reliability and dependability.
• Ability to follow standard cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Basic English language proficiency.
• This is a full-time position. Some overtime may be required.

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $20.00/hr
. This range is provided by Arbor Properties. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Insurance benefits are available on the 1st of the month following 2 months of continuous employment. Rental employee discount available. Vacation, Sick, and Holiday paid time off. Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
