Project-Based Janitorial Cleaner

Requirements:

• You must be 18 years old
• You must have work authorization
• A criminal background check is required.
• Experience in custodial, janitorial, or floor care work preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to lift moderate weight and stand or walk for extended periods
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

• Sweep, mop, and scrub restroom floors; vacuum and extract carpets as needed
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and fixtures
• Perform deep cleaning and detail cleaning of assigned areas on a scheduled basis
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners; remove recycling materials as required
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissue in restrooms and common areas
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment
• Respond to special cleaning requests, projects, or emergencies (e.g., spills or leaks)
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure cleaning standards are met.
