Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is looking to hire a skilled Autonomous Vehicle Service Technician/Mechanic to repair, maintain, and retrofit our fleet of Electric Autonomous Vehicles (EV/AV). Compensation: Competitive hourly pay; paid weekly, every Friday! $34-$38/hr DOE
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday OR Sunday - Thursday 2pm-12:30am

What you’ll be doing
What you must have
- 4-8 years of experience working on cars, including brakes, suspension, alignment, electrical repair, diagnosis, software/firmware updates, and complex hardware retrofits
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and automotive shop equipment
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and software components, understanding their interactions
- Strong computer skills and aptitude for new technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Growth mindset and openness to feedback
- Focus on safety and quality
- Ability to give and receive clear directives
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various positions
- Ability to anticipate setbacks and manage multiple projects
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
- Experience with sensors, calibration, and autonomous automotive systems
- Dealership or automotive training and experience
- Knowledge of Linux, Java, Python, C++, Jira, Confluence, G-Suite, Slack
- ASE certifications
- Exposure to traffic, dust, fumes, noise, chemicals, oils, and greases
- Ability to access all vehicle areas for maintenance
- Physical ability to move heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions
