Position: Copier/ Printer Field Service Technician

Overview

Copier/ Printer Field Service Technician role at Pacific Office Automation. Pacific Office Automation is one of the largest independently-owned document imaging and technology dealers in the nation, serving customers since 1976 with growing branches across ten western states. The company provides training and certification to keep up with fast-changing office technology.

Responsibilities
  • Routinely demonstrate a positive work culture and contribute to team success.
  • Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
  • Conduct yourself in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
  • Meet or exceed team productivity goals on key performance measurements.
  • Maintain inventory integrity and manage parts costs per call to meet targets.
  • Maintain technical knowledge on all products and recommend training needs to the Branch Technical Manager.
  • Assist the Sales department with sales demos as requested.
  • Perform service calls on machines listed on the Excessive Activity and 3 and 30 report.
  • Collaborate on tech-assist calls with other service team members.
  • Service machines for assigned account base as needed, including major and escalated accounts.
Qualifications
  • Product Lines supported by Pacific Office Automation:
    Canon, HP, Lexmark, Sharp, KM, Ricoh, Oce, FP Mail, Kyocera, Riso, Kodak.
  • Certification and/or hands-on experience with at least one of the following product lines:
    Canon, HP, Lexmark; paid training on other brands may be provided as needed based on market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service.
  • Strong relationship management with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills for digital office equipment.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to seek out information prior to decision-making.
  • Strong ethics and collaborative team work.
  • Computer literacy;
    Fiery/controller experience is a plus.
  • Self-starter who can work extra hours during peak periods.
