We have an immediate opening in our Austin office for a Real Estate Land Use Associate with a minimum of five years of experience preferred. We are open to candidates looking to relocate to Austin or work remotely from Austin but require the ability to attend in person zoning and planning meetings. The candidate should have experience with complex land use issues, including zoning and planning, land-use entitlements, variances, platting and subdivision, city development contracts, and land development codes.

Responsibilities
  • Support land use matters with a focus on zoning and planning issues, entitlements, variances, platting, subdivision, and related city development contracts.
  • Attend in person zoning and planning meetings as required.
  • Manage multiple projects with strong judgment and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
Qualifications
  • Active Texas bar license or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in real estate land use, zoning, and planning matters.
  • Excellent academic credentials and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Ability to relocate to Austin or work remotely from Austin with the requirement to attend meetings in person.
