Responsibilities- Work on a variety of complex commercial and business litigation matters including antitrust, construction, product liability, real estate, financial services, energy, and other areas.
- Take depositions, briefing and arguing dispositive and discovery motions, and interfacing with clients and opposing counsel.
- Manage a myriad of deadlines and thrive in a team environment; be able to work independently.
- Participate in mediation, arbitration, and trial as applicable.
- 3-6 years of litigation experience and familiarity with applicable federal, state and local rules.
- Be highly motivated, possess outstanding interpersonal skills, be diligent, high energy, and have excellent writing skills; able to work independently to meet deadlines and thrive in a team environment.
- Experience with depositions, briefing and arguing dispositive and discovery motions, and interfacing with clients and opposing counsel.
- Mediation, arbitration, and trial experience is a plus.
- Candidates must be in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
