Title: M&A / Private Equity Associate

Location: Austin, TX (extremely flexible office expectations — results matter more than facetime)

Experience: 2+ years handling M&A and/or private equity transactions

Bar: Texas required (or ability to waive in)

You’ll handle a broad mix of M&A and private equity transactions
, including:

• Representing buyers and sellers in middle‑market M&A deals across diverse industries
• Supporting private equity funds and financial sponsors on transactions and investments
• Working on venture capital
  , corporate finance
  , and general business matters when needed
• Drafting and negotiating commercial, corporate, and technology‑driven agreements supporting clients’ operational and strategic needs

They are targeting an associate with:

• Strong drafting skills on M&A and PE purchase agreements and ancillary documents
• Experience leading work streams in transactions with sophisticated counter parties
• Familiarity with equity financing structures, convertible instruments, governance, and corporate formation matters (or willingness to learn)
• A practical mindset with the ability to advise growth‑focused businesses on strategic decisions
