A well-established law firm based in Austin, TX, is actively seeking a dedicated and motivated associate attorney to join its family law practice. Duties:
- Handle a range of family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, parenting plans, and support issues
- Communicate directly with clients to provide legal guidance and case updates
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
- Participate in court appearances, depositions, and mediations
- Collaborate with legal team members to ensure a comprehensive case strategy and execution
- Maintain case files and manage deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience in family law or litigation
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated capacity to manage competing priorities and high-volume caseloads
- Commitment to a client-centered approach and ethical practice
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Active Texas Bar License required
Skills:
- Proficiency in legal drafting and courtroom procedures
