Description:

Small, local firm is seeking a Paralegal specializing in Employment Immigration. Our client's practice emphasizes high-quality work, close collaboration, and direct client contact. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Employment Immigration Paralegal to support their attorneys and clients throughout the immigration process. This is a direct hire position and is a wonderful opportunity for individuals looking for a close knit team that takes care of their team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys with employment immigration cases, including preparation and filing of visa applications, petitions, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment immigration laws and regulations.
  • Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely submission of documents.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
  • Liaise with government agencies to follow up on case statuses or resolve issues.
  • Draft correspondence, legal documents, and case summaries as required.
  • Organize and maintain legal documentation in compliance with firm policies and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working directly with Employment Immigration required.
  • Paralegal certificate highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employment immigration processes and terminology.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and document preparation software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy in documentation and filings.
  • Familiarity with government filing systems and procedures related to immigration.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
