Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

A well-established law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate to join its growing practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who wants hands‑on experience in sophisticated insolvency matters while working closely with experienced practitioners in a collaborative environment.

The associate will work on a wide range of bankruptcy and restructuring matters, representing debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders in complex proceedings. Attorneys are given meaningful responsibility early, including direct involvement in court proceedings and client interaction, while receiving strong mentorship and support.

• Handle matters across all phases of bankruptcy and restructuring cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and bankruptcy court filings
• Assist with Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and out‑of‑court restructurings
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and negotiations
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and financial professionals
• Collaborate with a team‑oriented bankruptcy practice

• 2+ years of bankruptcy or restructuring experience
• Familiarity with Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment
