Overview
Perkins Coie is seeking technical advisors to join its growing Patent Prosecution practice. Candidates are required to have a degree in mechanical engineering, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar, as well as strong academic credentials and excellent references. We are seeking candidates who are interested in becoming patent agents and available to work full-time beginning in June of 2026 when our program begins.
From day one, patent agents are introduced to cutting-edge technology and begin the development of their legal skills. Patent agents are tasked with drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, working side-by-side with attorneys and other legal personnel.
