Position Overview:
We seek a seasoned federal litigator licensed in Texas with expert experience in U.S. Courts—particularly in the Western District. Additional federal admission is accepted. The role supports a dynamic litigation team handling commercial and residential first‑party insurance matters. Relocation stipend available for those outside Austin.
- Lead and manage state and federal cases from start to trial or resolution.
- Draft, argue, and win substantive motions—summary judgment and Daunten challenge.
- Oversee expert discovery, depositions, and federal procedural tactics.
- Collaborate closely with clients, expert witnesses, and practice leadership to drive litigation results.
- Supervise and mentor legal teams and clerks.
- Team‑oriented leader with the capacity to mentor and direct staff.
- Juris Degree from a fully accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
- Preferred: prior defense or plaintiff first‑party property litigation.
- Preferred: expert bilingual in English and either Spanish or Vietnamese.
- Willing to relocate to Austin, TX. Stipend provided.
- Capable of working in Austin office at 504 W. 38th St., Austin, TX 78705.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer, research, writing, and oral advocacy abilities.
- Minimum 5 years civil litigation experience with proven mastery of Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, local district rules, and CM/EC filing systems.
