A globally leading consumer device company based in Austin, TX is looking for a Localization Project Manager to join their team.

• End‑to‑end planning and management of localization projects strategy to ensure timely deliveries of UI features with the highest quality.
• Adhering to stringent security and confidentiality requirements while collaborating with both external and internal partners.
• Overseeing the creation of detailed localization requirement documents for the engineering development team.
• Monitoring quality output from translations, and reporting on the overall progress of the projects throughout the major phases.
• Working very closely with the Localization QA team to develop a QA strategy to ensure in‑context quality of the features.
• Collaborating across localization teams to create and maintain glossaries and reference materials to ensure consistency across the ecosystem (software, marketing, support).

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in localization and/or project management.
• Ability to learn and manage data in complex content management systems.
• Coordinate localization projects alongside other LPMs, vendors, localization staff, QA and other departments across Apple globally.
• Experience project managing multiple languages desired, and ability to deal with large volumes in up to 40 languages simultaneously.
• Experience with planning, managing, and delivering multiple projects within very tight time frames.

Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months with extension

Work Location: Austin, TX (onsite or hybrid)

Pay rate: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour (DOE)
