QA Tester

Akkodis is seeking an QA Tester for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/Southlake, TX(Hybrid). This role requires deep expertise in QA automation and advanced testing frameworks to ensure reliable, secure business operations.

Rate Range: $43/hour to $44/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Designing and executing comprehensive API, UI, scheduled job, and database test cases to ensure end‑to‑end quality of applications.
• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing automated test scripts for web‑enabled applications to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Supporting Cyber Security tools and platforms—including Identity and Access Management solutions—to validate secure and reliable system performance.
• Collaborating within Agile teams using tools like JIRA to manage test cases, track defects, and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality releases.
• Partnering with cross‑functional teams to communicate testing results, technical issues, and risk assessments to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Applying advanced QA methodologies and best practices to strengthen testing frameworks, improve processes, and enhance overall software quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on QA engineering experience with progressive testing responsibilities.
• Experience with test automation development for web‑enabled applications (8+ years preferred).

• Background supporting Cyber Security tools/platforms such as Identity & Access Management, Zscaler, SailPoint IIQ, PING , or HYPR.

Pay Details: $43.00 to $44.00 per hour
