Data Analyst, IT Business Analyst
Luna Data Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior People Soft Business Analyst who will focus on business and systems analysis, process improvement, and enterprise coordination. The ideal candidate excels in requirements development, business process modeling, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Must live in the Austin area at time of submittal
- Hybrid (3 days onsite in Austin, TX)
- Lead and coordinate the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
- Improve business processes for efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
- Coordinate analysis of policies, procedures, and their impact on automated systems.
- Manage service request lifecycle, including requirements, technical review, and testing.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to complete enhancements.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Review complex deliverables such as design docs, test plans, and risk assessments.
- Lead process change requests and manage project scope and deployment activities.
- Support training development and delivery for system enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with requirements elicitation and lifecycle management.
- 8+ years leading business process reengineering initiatives.
- 8+ years as liaison between functional and technical teams.
- Experience with data management, warehousing, modeling, and integration.
- 8+ years of experience with People Soft modules (HRMS, Benefits, Payroll, Pension).
- Agile/Scrum environment experience (Scrum Master experience preferred).
- MBA or relevant certifications (CBAP, CCBA, CSM, CSPO, PMP, PMI-PBA, ITIL).
- Experience with MS Azure Dev Ops and project management tools.
- Experience creating enterprise documentation and training materials.
- Attend meetings and meet all delivery deadlines.
- Maintain presence during business hours and participate in remote meetings with camera on.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with technical and non-technical staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Adapt to change, manage multiple tasks, and take initiative to solve problems.
