Job Title: Business Analyst 3 – RISE (Applications / Software Development)
Local candidates to Austin, TX only
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a senior-level Business Analyst 3 – RISE to support enterprise Retirement and Insurance System Enhancements (RISE) initiatives for our client in Austin, TX.
This role will lead business and systems analysis efforts across complex application development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong SDLC expertise, hands‑on People Soft experience, and a proven ability to drive business process transformation while serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end requirements planning, elicitation, documentation, and lifecycle management
- Analyze and improve complex business processes
- Act as liaison between functional stakeholders and technical teams
- Coordinate system analysis, design validation, integration, and UAT efforts
- Support legacy system enhancements and modernization initiatives
- Develop business and technical documentation
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and manage change requests
- Create training materials and deliver user training
- Monitor project progress and manage risks
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business Administration, or related field
- 8+ years of business analysis experience in application/software development environments
- Strong SDLC experience managing requirements lifecycle
- Proven business process reengineering experience
- Hands‑on experience with People Soft (HRMS, Benefits, Payroll, or Pension modules)
- Advanced SQL skills (Oracle and SQL Server)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills
- Enterprise system implementations or legacy conversions
- Data modeling, warehousing, and integration exposure
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops or similar tools
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, CSM, CSPO, PMI-PBA, ITIL, or MBA
- Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week in Austin, TX)
- Fast‑paced enterprise environment
- Strong collaboration and communication required
