AI is a leading Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform powered by proprietary, patent-pending technology that moves beyond AI visibility tracking by executing and automating the changes required to influence how brands are discovered and recommended across AI-powered search and recommendation systems.
We’re looking for an experienced SEO/GEO Strategist to manage technical SEO strategy for our client accounts, support the development of our GEO product, and help bridge the gap between traditional SEO and AI-driven search optimization.
You’ll work directly with clients, run strategy calls, build data-driven reports, and ensure accounts are getting measurable results. You’ll also contribute your SEO expertise to our GEO recommendation engine — helping shape how the platform identifies and prioritizes optimizations for AI visibility.
This is a hands‑on strategy role, not a project management position. We need someone who can think critically about search, communicate clearly with clients, and operate independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute SEO strategies for client accounts, including keyword research, on‑page optimization, and link‑building coordination
- Run client strategy calls and serve as the technical point of contact for high‑value accounts
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and translate findings into actionable plans
- Analyze web analytics data (GA4, Google Search Console) to identify opportunities and demonstrate ROI
- Build performance reports that connect SEO activity to business outcomes
- Coordinate backlink acquisition strategies and monitor link quality and velocity
- Support GEO product development by contributing domain expertise to our recommendation engine
- Provide product feedback from client interactions to improve platform capabilities
- 5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience with demonstrable results
- Proficiency with keyword research and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or equivalent)
- Strong experience with web analytics platforms (GA4, Google Search Console)
- Proven ability to conduct technical SEO audits and implement on‑page optimizations
- Experience with link‑building strategy and understanding of domain authority signals
- Excellent client‑facing communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly and build trust
- Strong problem‑solving skills and strategic thinking
- Self‑directed and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field — or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with AI‑assisted workflows (Claude, ChatGPT) for research, reporting, or content strategy
- Familiarity with AI‑driven or generative search systems and how LLMs discover and cite content
- Experience with revenue attribution or proving SEO ROI to stakeholders
- Ground floor of the GEO market — a space that’s emerging fast as AI search replaces traditional search
- Your SEO expertise directly shapes product development, not just client deliverables
- Work alongside a team with 15+ years of search optimization experience
