Overview

Austin, TX (Hybrid) | High-Growth, Award-Winning Organization

An award-winning technology and manufacturing leader is seeking a QA Engineer / Automation Specialist to help ensure the quality, reliability, and safety of enterprise AI agents and automation workflows. This organization is in a continual state of hyper-growth, delivering complex, large-scale solutions across technology, infrastructure, energy, healthcare, and industrial markets.

With over $1B in annual revenue, decades of industry leadership, and thousands of successful enterprise deployments, this company is investing heavily in AI-driven automation and is building a world-class quality function to support that mission.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a critical role in validating AI agents, automated workflows, and system integrations before they reach production. Working closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders, you’ll act as the final quality gate—ensuring solutions are accurate, reliable, safe, and scalable.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys owning quality end-to-end, thrives in fast-moving environments, and wants to help shape QA best practices in an evolving AI landscape.

  • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies (functional, regression, performance)
  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks for AI agents and workflows
  • Create and manage test assets (synthetic data, golden conversation sets, regression suites)
  • Validate AI behavior, safety, and reliability including edge cases and failure modes
  • Test APIs, integrations, and workflows across environments
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
  • Provide final release certification prior to production deployments
  • Partner with business and technical teams on acceptance criteria and test coverage
  • Maintain testing documentation, metrics, and quality reporting
  • Participate fully in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or software testing
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or Pytest
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Test Rail, etc.)
  • Strong analytical thinking, documentation, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Why This Role?
  • Join an award-winning company with a proven track record
  • Be part of a hyper-growth phase with meaningful investment in AI and automation
  • High visibility role with real impact on enterprise-scale systems
  • Collaborative, forward-thinking culture that values quality and innovation
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
