Position Summary
Sibylline is looking for a Protective Intelligence Analyst to join our team embedded within a client’s global threat and intelligence function. This is an on‑site role, working 5 days a week in our client’s Austin office. The working hours are 11 am – 7 pm with rotational weekend coverage. When working weekends, you will get days back in lieu.
The Protective Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for supporting the global threat team with executive protection analysis and monitoring. In this role, you will conduct threat triage response, support the protection teams, and conduct travel risk assessments. This role requires exceptional writing and verbal communication skills. The right person is proactive, capable of distilling technical “industry speak” into lay‑man’s terms for executive audiences and can clearly articulate the “so what” in assessments they produce.
EssentialFunctions / Responsibilities
- Leverage technical tools to identify and verify OSINT threats to personnel.
- Analyze large volumes of data from various sources to produce concise reports and/or assessments.
- Support talent and executive protection details with accurate and timely information and alerting.
- Provide security/threat assessments for events.
- Conduct detailed assessments on threat actors and maintain databases.
- Monitor all‑source information to proactively identify and assess threats, as well as highlight emerging trends that may impact business, productions, and talent.
- Respond to critical incidents, rapidly research and deliver information in a clear and concise format.
- Conduct investigations as needed.

- Advanced knowledge of open‑source, social media, and public records search techniques.
– Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, Intelligence, Risk Management, or related field;
Master’s preferred. - 1‑3 years of relevant protective intelligence experience in a corporate setting.
- Experience with threat assessment tools and structured professional judgment guides for targeted violence risk.
Physical Requirements
