The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead delivery of complex cloud solution projects. The EM combines technical expertise with strong project leadership, driving successful implementations of AWS-based solutions and bridging business requirements with technical solutions. The role applies AWS frameworks such as the Well‑Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework, deconstructs complex problems, makes informed trade‑off decisions, validates solutions against business goals, and manages technical risks.

The EM is expected to maintain relevant AWS certifications, develop domain expertise, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
• Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
• Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomes
• Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
• Contributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standards

• 5+ years in cloud computing
• 5+ years in project management of technical programs
• 5+ years of experience in consulting and working with enterprise customers
• 5+ years of experience with customer cloud transformation activities to ensure successful delivery of solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience

• AWS experience preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• Strong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices
• Experience applying AWS frameworks such as the Well‑Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework
• Proven ability to establish technical credibility with engineering teams and senior technical decision‑makers
