Lead Data Migration Consultant (Protech/MS Dynamics) Role Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Lead Data Migration Consultant to join our Professional Services team. In this critical role, you will lead the end-to-end data migration process for new customers onboarding onto our Protech (Microsoft Dynamics) platform. You will serve as the technical architect and the primary client-facing lead, ensuring that legacy data is accurately transformed and integrated into modern ecosystems.

As the “bridge” between the customer and our technical execution, you will manage an offshore team, delegate complex scripting tasks, and ensure all delivery meets our rigorous standards for the upcoming mid-April go-live.

• Architect & Solution:
  Design and oversee the migration strategy for moving legacy data into Microsoft Dynamics-based environments.
• Hands-on Execution:
  Build and refine SQL scripts and utilize Kingsway Soft for complex data transformations and loading.
• Client Leadership:
  Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers; translate business requirements into technical migration maps.
• Team Management:
  Lead and delegate tasks to an offshore technical team, ensuring work completed “overnight” aligns with client expectations and project timelines.
• Process Improvement:
  Evaluate current migration methodologies and introduce ideas to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Legacy Transformation:
  Handle complex “Dynamics to Dynamics” migrations for enterprise-level clients, including deep data massaging and transformation logic.

• Proven Experience:
  
  Minimum 5–7 years of experience in data migration, specifically within the Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce (Fonteva) ecosystems.
• Technical Mastery:
  Advanced, hands-on SQL skills are mandatory. You must be comfortable writing and debugging complex scripts.
• ETL Tools:
  Direct experience using Kingsway Soft for data integration and migration.
• Consultative Mindset:
  Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead high-level technical discussions with stakeholders and VPs.
• Offshore Coordination:
  Demonstrated ability to manage and delegate to offshore resources effectively.
• Urgency & Adaptability:
  Ability to ramp up quickly on new applications to support a major mid-April project launch.
